People talk about having the kind of faith that can move
mountains. But does that mean you can just remove any and all obstacles in your
life? Well, in Matthew 21:21, Jesus said that if you have faith and do not
doubt, even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the
sea,’ it will happen. So why isn’t this happening? Because sometimes
we are doubting.
It’s not doubting God can move the mountain. It’s looking at the wrong mountain. You see, 1 Corinthians 13:2 says if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And Galatians 5:6 says the only thing that matters is faith working through love. So, you might have great faith, but if love isn’t growing in your heart, your faith isn’t going to move that mountain. Until you realize that the mountain that needs moving is YOU.
