Heavenly
Father, we praise you for who you are. And our prayer is that your
righteousness would prevail at every level. In government and society. In our
homes, schools, and communities. In our policies, pronouncements, and
decisions. In our churches, that we may see a wave of true repentance, and
revival. And a great awakening in our country, as people are born again into
the kingdom of God. And that this would influence others toward right thinking
and action, with all wisdom and prudence.
Our Father, we pray that you would bless the United States of America to shine as an example to the world. Not by sanctioning our choices, but by stirring our hearts and steering our paths. May the Holy Spirit lead us in the paths of righteousness for your name’s sake. May your word be magnified and your kingdom multiplied, for your glory.
This we ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
