What does this image bring to mind? Perhaps somewhere you have been, or somewhere you have lived, or would like to live.
Maybe you don't think of a place, but an idea. Like peace, tranquility, or relaxing. Could it be that some of you think about the calm before the storm? Or about the fence? Or the fact that the sun is setting?
What comes to your
mind when you see things says a lot about your
mindset at the time.
Think about it.......

I think, when I see this, that I just learned to put pictures on the blog....ha ha.....
Hey, that doesn't change the value of the post does it?
HMMMM...what were you thinking when I said that......?
Truly, our present perspective on things determines a lot about how conversations, encounters, and events in our life turn out.
This is why we must endeavor to be filled with the Spirit...not for some power play, but for us to be able to provide reasoning AND seasoning to all that we do.
is the sun setting? When I first saw the picture, I thought of a sunrise! I guess it really can speak of different perspectives.
Indeed, that is what I was going to write at first, but as you see, it really does matter about our perspectives and all.
I love this teaching! It reminds me of some of the past exchanges and how our individual "mindsets" influence our understanding of how scripture should be applied.
Your picture brought to my mind the times I have been riding with my husband, watching the sun and the clouds on a beautiful bright day.
In my mind I would look up and keep saying, "Come on down Lord Jesus, could this be Your day?"
Blessed memories, and why don't I think that way now?
My answer, a cluttered mind!!!
