Here Is The New Book

Well, it sure took longer than I had anticipated, but just in time for Mothers Day (hey mom), the new book has arrived. It consists of fifty of the posts just like you see here every weekday...

Anyway, you don't have to order the book to see the posts. Everything in this book, or in subsequent books, will be seen right here at the site first.

The subtitle reads, Devotional Arrows Aimed At The Heart

If for some reason you would like a copy,

here is a link to the book on Amazon

In His Grace and For His Glory...

  1. J.D.,
A great idea. Who printed it for you? Does the book include the photos? I have been doing some of my Romans 8 series on my computer, but that kinda limits how many I can do.

  2. Oh BTW. I have some "carbon credits" for sale over at my site. Shameless promotion, but I figure I need to make a buck or two to pay my carbon tax......

  3. The publisher is Xulon Press, the largest publisher of Christian books in North America with more than 2,700 authors. They are an on-demand publisher, meaning that books are printed only as they are ordered, removing the need to warehouse books. They can print a book in less than one minute, in any quantity, even one book at a time, fulfilling orders fast.

Xulon is a “self publisher”, but they are not a vanity publisher. You aren't obligated to purchase a single book to get published. They don't demand that you purchase lots of books. There is no minimum order. Vanity publishers will charge you thousands of dollars to print a truckload of books, which they will not help you distribute. Xulon uses technology to keep your costs down, allowing you to buy books only as you need them. They also help you distribute your book to bookstores and on the Web.

Xulon is a part of Salem Communications Corporation, the country’s leading Christian communications company with interests in radio, Internet, and magazine publishing.

Wayne, that answer was a boilerplate I wrote a while ago. No pictures, not sure if they do that at all...

Yeah, your Romans stuff is excellent...we are going to be giving out the book like a visitor's packet, and to all the congregation as well...sure beats just giving them a pen...at least they can see wherew the church is basically, and where the pastor's heart is...

  7. J.D.,
Thanks for the info on publishing. I have found that photos are just real costly to do.

Carbon credits are where people that use a lot of energy, like Al Gore, can invest in stuff that supposedly help reduce the carbon dioxide emissions. I think it is just a way that rich liberals can claim to be carbon neutral by off-setting their huge energy consumption by supposedly doing good things for the enviroment.

It is kind of a works salvation for those that worship at the alter of the enviromental global warming church.

Since trees take in CO2 and produce O2, they are excellent for set asides. Plant a tree and feel good. However, we hear at Jazzycat Farms already have several thousand trees with new little baby trees joining the force every year. Therefore, we thought we might as well sell them to guilty feeling liberals to make them feel good. Hey, don't ask me explain liberals too deeply as I already feel like I am in the twilight zone when I hear them explain their views.

Now I don't mean to insult anyone as we all have liberal friends, but this global warming hysteria is getting a little looney........

  14. Mr Hatfield,
I'm interested in getting a copy for my mom for mother's day. Can you tell me about what's in it? I'd really like to steer her from some of the questionable "Christian" material she's been finding lately. You wouldn't believe what passes for "Christian" these days.
    Thanks!!!
